Last weekend saw mixed fortunes with the 1st team overcoming Coppull in a 5-4 thriller to take them into the next round of the Richardson Cup. That win earns them the right to play local rivals Turton away on Saturday the 29th October in the next round, another Derby day to look forward to!
Meanwhile it’s back to the league this Saturday where the 1st team take on Southport Hesketh away, and Whaley’s men will be desperate to keep up winning ways and try to move back up the league. Gary Kay’s reserve side also have a tough game against second in the table Lostock St Gerard’s where they too will be desperate to put last week’s loss behind them and get some points on the board.
Both games kick off at 3pm so please get down and support the lads which ever game you can attend.
