Saturday sees the start of a busy month in the West Lancs League for both 1st team and reserves, with the 1st team travelling to Longridge and the reserves at home to Fullwood Amateurs, both kicking off at 3pm.
New central defender signings of Danny Gill and Tim Berry may make their debuts, whilst club captain Nick Haynes is welcomed back to the fold after last season injury woes. Then Monday evening at 6.45 see the reserves entertain locals Tempest Utd under the new manager Gary Kay, before the big Derby night on Tuesday where the Eagles host neighbours Turton Fc for one of the oldest Derby’s in football history.
