It’s A Weekend Away

News on 1 Jan , 1990

Both teams this weekend play away with the first team travelling to high flyers Garstang.

Simon Whaley’s men are half way through the season and know they must start picking up some much needed points. They felt hard done to in their last game versus Tempest United where the visitors came out victors with the last kick off the game! But that’s football and the Eagles must learn how to see out the games, and make sure the hard working performances pay off by earning points. After last week’s game was called off due to snow, manger  Whaley will have a full squad to choose from and try and get something from the game.

Meanwhile, it’s a different story for Gary Kay’s reserves who are now unbeaten in three games. But with a tough away fixture at neighbours from Lostock CMB, Gary hopes to keep the run going and move up the table.

Both games are still 2pm kick offs, and please support the Eagles which ever game you can attend.
