This bank holiday weekend sees a busy schedule for the Eagles. With 3 first team games left, Saturday sees them travel to fellow strugglers Crookland Casuals for a real ‘Six Pointer.’ So unless anything changes 3 teams will be relegated from the Premier Division this season into the West Lancs League 1, and even if Eagley were to win all 3 matches the goal difference is too great and will still see them down. Then they travel to Blackpool Wrens on Bank Holiday Monday for a tough encounter against a side challenging Longridge for the Premier title also 3 pm kick off.
Meanwhile, the reserves play there last home game at Eagley tomorrow at 3pm versus Lytham where Gary Kay’s men will be desperate to finish the season with some points too. Then on Monday also at 3pm it is the last reserve fixture, which is the reverse v Lytham away.
